So for 25 years, Polly and I have been sending out a family Christmas letter. Some of you have been reading since Ben was in diapers. Some of you joined somewhere around the flying squirrel incident. Some of you are still not sure how you got on this august list.
Well, those letters — plus some text message exchanges the boys will probably never forgive me for saving, and a few essays I wrote when they weren’t looking — turned into a book.
It’s called 10 Pennies and a Duck, and it’s exactly what you think it is – the adventures and laugh-out-loud moments all wrapped up nicely in some cavernous Amazon warehouse. Funny. Warm. Occasionally featuring wildlife indoors.
If you’ve been reading this blog, you’ve already met us. The book is the whole story — the parts that made it into the Christmas letters and the parts that definitely did not.
Buy it on Amazon →10 Pennies and a Duck (book).
And if you’ve already read it, an Amazon review would mean the world. Even a sentence helps other people find it before Father’s Day!
Happy Father’s Day to every dad who’s ever pretended to know what he’s doing.
Christian
